Hotel Pol Haveli Jaisalmer

A very beautiful haveli in a quiet area with a sweet rooftop with a good restaurant and amazing food. The owner and the staff are all so helpfull and they really just want you to be happy and they do everything for it. I enjoyed my time there a lot, i wasnt feeling so well when i arrived but they changed it, cooked extra healthy and simple food just for me and for my belly, they have a really good cook:-) I felt like being a part of the familly, this place has a good spirit and i am happy to return one day.

Pol Haveli is incredibly welcoming and friendly. It's great that they arrange a free pick up from the bus stand too. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the rooms have hot water and extra blankets are available on request which I really appreciated. The food served in the restaurant is delicious with Omcara and his team serving up mouthwatering dishes. Nothing is too much trouble. Also note that Pol Haveli is only a short walk away from the Fort. The roof terrace at Pol Haveli is also a good spot for sunset. One thing also worth mentioning is that Pol Haveli arranges Desert Camel Safari experiences, something we did and we LOVED it. Before we arrived at the desert, the lovely Ali Jeep took us to some local historical places, and then dropped us off to meet Santosh, Vikram and Hira and the camels. We trekked into the desert and then enjoyed the dunes, good company, delicious food, a beautiful sunset, and then slept under the stars (under loads of heavy blankets). The trek back in the morning after breakfast was also lovely This has been one of the highlights of my India travels so far. Manu, Ahna and all of the team at Pol Haveli made our trip to Jaisalmer one to remember.

The staff at this family-run hotel are very generous and will support you during your visit to the stunning city of Jaisalmer. We arrived at 5am and not only was a free transfer arranged, but we were allowed to rest on arrival in a spare room free of charge several hours before we were due to check in. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is delicious (good breakfast pancakes, and some really good curries - we recommend the paneer butter masala and palak paneer in particular). The location is easy walking distance to the Fort (15 minute stroll) and close to some markets that are good value. You can also organise a non-touristic desert safari through the hotel, which we did. This was good value, fun, and included a camel ride and sleeping on the warm desert sand under the stars in the Thar Desert. This was a memorable experience and would recommend to those who are intrepid and keen to get out of their comfort zone. We can wholeheartedly recommend Pol Haveli for the delicious food, and generous staff who are always keen to help. A big thanks to Harry for showing us around Jaisalmer, and to Hunni for his delicious cooking. We hope to return one day.

Very great place, the hotel sent a driver to the bus station. I felt very welcomed, the owner, his family and all the team were so kind and helpful in every step of my stay in this Haveli, which is beautiful and very charming place. I had the opportunity to have a better room with a wonderful bow window. Very clean place, constant hot water (which is what I was looking for after days in other places). I left but I will come back for a safari with this great Haveli as my experience was great. Totally recommended.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Pol Haveli! The overall services were exceptional, from the warm hospitality of the staff to the well-maintained and beautifully designed rooms. The rooftop restaurant offered a stunning view, making the experience even more memorable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Every detail, from cleanliness to prompt service, was well taken care of. I highly recommend Hotel Pol Haveli to anyone looking for a delightful and hassle-free stay. Excellent job!
